How our classes work:
The WOD(Workout of the Day) is posted daily on our blog, and typically follows the structure of 1) warm-up; 2) skill work/review; 3) strength/oly lifting; and then 4) WOD. Each is described in more detail below
Every class starts with a light warmup that is determined by the coach. It could include anything from mobilization exercises to dynamic stretching to games.
The skill work component is generally a time-specified class component that focuses on bodyweight/gymnastic skills and progressions such as pullups, pushups, rowing, kettlebell technique, and more.
The strength component centers on barbell lifts like back squat, deadlifts, snatch, clean & jerk, pressing movements and more.
The WOD is often a metabolic conditioning (met-con) workout lasting anywhere from 5-20 minutes.
All classes normally run 45 mins to an hour.
